My staples are literature, conversation and good food. I play the cello and sing a little (badly): today I've been troubling my neighbours with an extended performance of 'La Vie en Rose' whilst doing the housework. I'm trying to teach myself analogue photography; I am very very fond of the Australian bush; and I love to be told stories about people and places far away.
