The main reason of writing to you is to inform you about the organization and its efforts towards helping destitute, marginalized and isolated orphans in poor rural communities/ families in Kenya. Due to HIV/AIDS, Unknown Death (pandemic) and poverty, many women have been left widows with several orphans to feed for themselves with no or meager resources to survive on with no support from immediate family members. Widows are left helpless and orphans drop out of school. Older women (grandparents) are left with many orphans (grand children) to feed single handed. One way you can help these children is to become a friend of R.H.D-Kenya and materially, financially and morally support the work of the organization or become a penpal to one or two. Please reach us through email/ personally come to our Head-office and you are likely to be assigned a child in any region in Kenya where we are expanding rapidly; faced with the Poverty and HIV/AIDS crisis.
