Hi/Czesc. My name is Alan, I'm single, a long-term bachelor, and I was born, and grew up in Kent, UK, and now live/work in Kent. I have also lived previously in other parts of the UK. I work full-time locally and outside of work I spend time working on my hobby, classic motorcycles, in my shed/workshop. My other interest's at home are, occasional DIY, lot's of reading, especially history and travel, and surfing the web. I have a few English friends near where I live and in other parts of Kent and the UK. I also have a few Polish/Lithuanian/Latvian/Slovakian friends, work colleagues and near neighbours. I have travelled extensively across the UK over the past 30 years, as I used to drive commercially for a living and, latterly for leisure, for over ten years, I have been visiting Beer Festivals in many different towns and cities. I've also travelled to Belgium over 25 times for the same interests (bier culture?). I've visited Amsterdam once (Feb 2013) and Poland twice (June and September 2013). The latter destination is now my "hot" subject!. I've fallen for Poland and I wish to visit the country much more in the future to further enhance my interest in this beautiful country. I like the diverse history, the friendly people and the landscape of this once great European country. I've achieved a fair amount in my past life, but, as I get older, I realise that time is running out....If you want to do it, do it now.
