I am a teacher who works with children in their first year of schooling. I am blessed with two daughters who have, in turn, now blessed me with four grandchildren. Three boys and a girl. The last two born this year. I live in the country and share my life with many beautiful Australian animals. I have always loved nature and am in my own peaceful part of the world. I shy away from social and love my own company. I draw my little animals, write poem-ettes about them and love to write long letters to friends sharing the antics of my little friends. I have had the honour of visiting Ireland and England, I love them very much, share Irish ancestry and would love to have a penfriend from there to write to. I grew up in the outback of Australia and loved it very much. I taught myself to crochet rugs which I make for palliative care patients and am a proud 'leftie'. I have taught myself how to do many crafts and enjoy teaching myself new ones. I have begun to make my own cards for my loved ones, I write my own poems for them. I am a spiritual person, drawn by my deep love of nature and find my own peace there rather than anywhere else.
