I am a university student from California, going to school in Oregon right now. I am studying biology in preparation for medical school, and I am interested in science, languages, art, literature, history, politics, film, and many other things. I am always on the lookout for new and enlightening experiences, and one of my ambitions is to make new friends from other countries and learn more about this world we all live on. In the past, I have visited a number of countries in Europe and Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and North America, and I look forward to traveling more in the future. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing, playing piano and listening to music, computer programming, homebrewing beer, taking online courses, playing tennis, swimming, hiking, skiing, skeet shooting, and watching films and TV programs. I consider myself a very easygoing person, and I am very passionate about life. I am currently studying German and I speak several other languages, but I also am interested in learning Japanese, Russian, and some other languages. I'd like to seek out people who are also studying languages, so we can practice and learn together. My goal is to become a physician and to use my education and training to work with underserved populations eventually.
