I am a retired management consultant. I am married and we have 2 children who are now young adults and moved out several years ago, although we are very close as a family. I have been learning German as a hobby from a total beginner for about 6 years and I also enjoy learning about the everyday life, culture, politics and society in Germany. I am particularly fascinated by the similarities and differences between Germany and Great Britain. I have a lot of interests such as soccer, wine, reading, chess, history and walking.
