At years of age I am still very active, occasionally cycling but sailing a small boat nearly every week. I am an ex. plant engineer having passed 28 years in S.Africa, prior to that I was technician in the Welsh steel industry and prior to that I served in the Royal Air Force in Germany. I have the unusual hobby of 'Portugal'. I'm learning the language and can read and write Portuguese reasonably well but to speak, well, that is another story but it is my ambition to be able to talk Portuguese. I visit Portugal every year.
