I live in Berlin Germany half the year and a southern US state the rest of the time. I am American by birth and lived most of my life there, but feel more German culturally and politically. I enjoy nature, animals, reading historical novels, gardening and eating good food. Politics and history interest (and infuriate) me. I like card and board games, and riding my bike. I read more in the German language than in English, and my spoken German is sort of a grammatically bad C1 level. I am interested in making German friends who live in Berlin.
