Over the last several years, my circle of friends shrunk to an almost non-existent level. Most either moved away and we lost touch, or they started families and our interests diverged. Being a homebody doesn't really help, nor does the fact that my hobbies are mostly solitary affairs. I also take care of my mom, so for the moment at least, traveling is not really an option either. I spend my time reading sci-fi, tinkering with old electronics, watching the same old shows over and over... Oddly enough, given my interests and job, I have a tendency to be a little technosceptic at times.
