I have many interests, among them languages and literature, cultural history, comparative religion. My main hobby is listening shortwave radio (i.e. DXing), but in my free time, I also enjoy going for long walks, bird watching and searching for fungi (not to eat, but to take photos of). Professionally, I'm a language teacher, teaching English, Latin, and Classical Greek. I'm currently very active in the local Esperanto community and am currently working on my first collection of poems written in that language.
