One word to describe myself is 'juxtaposition'. On the one hand I love meeting people, but I am rather shy about talking to strangers. I enjoy travelling to new places and exploring other cultures. While I teach English and German during the day, you will find me working on my latest crochet or sewing project or enjoying a good book (science or historic fiction, fantasy ...) in the evening. I have lived in a variety of countries and love hearing about other people's lives and customs and am particularly interested in languages. Currently I am learning Japanese and would love to practice it.
