I am widowed about six years. For most of the past few decades I lived in Seattle, but moved to the Portland area about two years ago for work. I was a journalist most of my career, moved into tech, and am now back in journalism--less money, more inner peace.I live with my cat, Mr. Bullet, a rescue kitty I found while volunteering at a local shelter. My passion has been travel. I am a dual US/EU citizen and have lived and worked in Europe and traveled to about 50 countries. I also have been to 49 of 50 states in the USA.I enjoy writing, sports, and good conversation.
