I am Tom Heeren, and I retired after volunteering in 2016. I write plays, short fiction for adults, poetry and essays. I enjoy reading, travelling (I've been to the UK twice, Canada, Sweden, and Denmark), surfing the Internet, watching TV, and spending time with my nephews and nieces. I enjoy writing historical fiction set in the Great War, the Sixties and the Eighties. I would love to learn about Afrikaans, Swedish, Dutch, Czech, Danish and Spanish. Go UK! Go Canada!!
