I am a recovering academic ... spent 13 years teaching history at the post-secondary level. I also taught Latin and Greek. I gave it up after all those years because I could not land a permanent position. I also moved closer to my ageing father to help him out. I now work in a warehouse; work that I find fairly fulfilling. I enjoy hiking and reading in my time off. I love history, art, culture, but I am a fairly down-to-earth person.
