I am generally a happy person. I have a passion for learning and am always looking for stimulating conversation about myriad subjects. I have been a lawyer for over 20 years and am currently a Ph.D. student (at my dissertation stage). I have a genuine interest in social justice issues. I am a first-generation US citizen, born to a Brazilian mother and Mexican father. I spend a lot of time with my family (siblings, parents, nieces, and nephews)--they are my treasures in life. I have lived in 4 countries and speak three languages. I love watching movies, especially horror movies.
