My main interests include reading - mostly biographies and history books - and genealogy, travelling abroad, and socializing with friends. I enjoy being outdoors, so walking and gardening feature quite strongly in my life. Europe fascinates me - there is such diversity in such a comparatively small area and I try and take two European holidays every year. (This year it was Salzburg and Vienna in February and northern Spain- Bilbao, Burgos and Leon in September.)I think I'm quite a shy person and have had an issue with self-confidence in the past.Silence and quiet reflection are valuable to me
