I am a graduate student in the MIdwest, but I'm actually from the West coast of the US. I am studying to obtain a PhD in biochemistry, specifically I study infectious disease. When I'm not working in lab towards my thesis I can be found outside running or riding my bike enjoying the blistering heat during the summer. Or I can be found curled up with my cat and a good book, or with a cup of tea painting or knitting. I enjoy talking with people about common interests and how our world views impact our lives.
