Hi, I'm a 45 year old woman who lives with her partner and our 6 year old son who has a diagnosis of Autism. I am a full time carer, but used to be a nurse. I like cross-stitching, singing in a choir, reading and watching movies, and used to play the flute. My interests lie in psychology and history. My friends normally revolve around people who have got children with special educational needs themselves, as they understand what it's like, but I am open to making friends who are not in the same situation has me, but have got similar hobbies/interests.
