I am a xenophile (lover of the "other" the "new" the "strange" the "exotic"). I come from a family of and friends group of various cultures. I have traveled to UK, Italy, Morocco, India, Cuba, and Grenada. I am getting old (at 56) and I want to see as much of this beautiful planet I love so dearly as I can before I lose function. I am an artist and writer (fiction and nonfiction). I create inks from plants and flowers. Currently rather frustrated with lots of work at my job which is thwarting my desire to fulfill my creative ideas. I also tend to rescue at-risk animals, wild and domestic.
