Isn't it wonderful to receive friendly letters instead of bills/junk?! I am a happily married mum of 5 grown-up children and 2 grandchildren. I had found it difficult to adjust after spending 40 years bringing up children, then my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's so our plans for retirement disappeared! I enjoy my own company, and my husband's, but I like to do my own thing too, and go on solo holidays whilst I still can! I have loads of hobbies and like to keep busy. I am not very girly, not interested in clothes/make-up/partying and very down-to-earth, open & honest.
