Compulsive reader, cafe sitter, theater goer, traveller/not tourist, fountain pen lover, country bumpkin by birth - city dweller by choice, continental European flaneusse. I have never been one for small talk and prefer intelligent, thought provoking conversation. The salons of 1900 Vienna, where Artist , Scientists, intellectuals mingled and developed new ideas is something I find inspiring and would have liked to experience. Exchanging hand written letters with people with similar interests will be the next best thing.
