I am looking for penfriends who enjoy the art of writing letters and receiving them, as I do. I have a growing collection of fountain pens which give me a lot of enjoyment when I write, be it letters or journals. I am currently (June 2026) reading about the poet John Keats and appreciating his poetry; and paintings by the Dutch artist Vermeer. I'm not a big fan of email correspondence; they're useful for short messages, but I much prefer to send and receive written letters. Letter writing is a form of personal therapy, I am convinced. It's good for the brain!
