I am a married gentleman living on an island in rural Southeastern Alaska. I am close to finishing my work career and a municipal finance official and hope to travel and visit Europe, especially Germany and Denmark, after my working days are finished. My hobby, which has turned into a small artisan business, is wood turning. I display my turning art in an art gallery which I am a member of.I studied German for 4 years in high school and college and am semi-fluent. I have never had a chance to visit Europe, so I hope to make some corresponding friendships, especially with German speakers.
