My name is Sophie and I'm currently doing my PhD at a German University and work part-time as a freelance editor. In the times before the big C, my life was busy, with lots of stuff to do - these days my boyfriend and I pretty much just hang around in our apartment, which tends to get a little boring, despite the chance to read, watch movies, play music (I play the piano and the cello) and try my hand at different craft projects. I even took up some literary writing, but all of this doesn't quite replace social contacts, travelling, going hiking in the mountains or visiting friends and family.
