I like old things: antiques, books and traditional crafts. An aerospace engineer by day, I spend a lot of my free time in the garden and love getting out in the fresh air. We grow vegetables and always have a lot of projects to work on which involve woodworking and DIY. I'm always looking to learn new practical skills. Another thing I enjoy is hiking. There are great mountains in Scotland and I spend as much time as I can climbing them. Other hobbies include swimming and I've been known to do a bit of ballroom dancing.
