I'm a law student, I have a degree in ethology (animal behavior) and a degree in writing. I also love reading, and lately I've been reading mostly speculative fiction. My favorite authors in this genre are Ursula LeGuin and Octavia Butler, but Jane Austen is my first love. I'm married with two teen sons. We travel as much as possible. I loved having snail mail pen pals when I was younger and thought this might be fun. I was raised in the queer community and I am politically left (and also interested in other perspectives as long as they aren't bigoted).
