I am a history teacher and a huge history nerd. I live to travel to historic sites, and plan my vacations around these visits. I love learning the old handcrafts. I have learned to use a drop spindle for spinning and I have learned how to tat, which is making lace. My passion is for quilting, by hand, from start to finish. I also am an active volunteer with our local animal rescue. I foster animals and I help maintain the feral cat colony where I work.
