Currently employed full-time as administrative assistant in a skilled nursing facility at a retirement community. Previously worked part-time as an activity aide and receptionist in another nursing facility, a job taken after the death of an elderly parent whom I helped to care for while doing freelance book and journal editing and production. Have worked either part- or full-time in publishing since 1988. Lived for many years in large cities but now live surrounded by farms, many of them Amish. When not working I mostly read, write, walk, photograph, create.
