I want to learn about present day life in Ukraine and Russia. I would like to learn to communicate in Ukranian and in Russian. I want to do what I can to engage our collective conscience to bring about a paradigm shift away from violence as a method for solving world problems towards collaboration, peace and unity. I would like to start with the baby steps of understanding the various Eastern European cultures and people and eventually practicing language skills with pen pals of any age and interest (my language skills are currently non-existent but have started online learning).
