I'm a Canadian living in Japan. I teach at a samll regional university. I like reading about almost anything (especially history, science, and classic and new literature). I like learning languages as welll as teaching them. I cycle to work, and if I have time (every 5 years or so) I manage to take a longer multi-day cycle trip. I also like walking, exploring new towns or hiking in the mountains, and canoeing, kayaking, and sailing. I often get my kids to join me on these.
