I am shy, but can be outgoing with compatible people. That is a difficult quality to find. But, it is worth the source. I enjoy writing, reading, and refer to myself as a book writer, but an unpublished one. I am a homebody and enjoy conversation about current events. I would enjoy finding someone to correspond with in snail mail. Email is acceptable, but hand writing is a form of art and there is so much to discern about another person seeing how they arrange their writing.
