A former teacher of Spanish and French at the high school level, I was forced to retire at the age of 50 due to disability. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue but do not let my medical conditions cause me to suffer. My activities are restricted due to my chronic illness and on days in which I am too tired to even keep my eyes open I pass the time listening to music and/or audiobooks. I enjoy reading on the days when I can keep my eyes open.I have loved traveling for a long time. I am so glad that I didn't wait to do so until I retired or I would never have been able to do so.
