I'm a learner with many interests and questions. I live alone and so miss someone with whom to share ideas and interests. I do have friends, but they are all very active and busy. I keep abreast of current events and would love to discuss them with someone open-minded willing to dig into deeper questions. I have a degree in sociology and worked in Africa and other parts of the world for many years. I'm retired in a small French village and practice gardening and hiking. I like boardgames, with chess being my favorite. I also engage in local social activities.
