As a retired environmental scientist, I took on, along with my son, a free range egg farm. The property was in need of work, but with a lot of potential. 7-8 years on, we will be phasing out the chickens - although we have enjoyed having them. We will then move more into getting the work around the property done, to smarten it up, landscape and design to realise the potential it offers. So, at present, most of my time is taken up looking after the chickens, with a bit of landscaping and gardening thrown in. I am also keen on restoring furniture - painting effects and transfers etc.
