I love to read. If I haven't got my nose in a book, I'm probably in the kitchen as I love to cook. If I'm not in the kitchen I might be swimming in the sea (the cold, North Sea) with my friends, or going for a walk. I also enjoy a gripping box-set on TV (crime/thriller/historical) and I often crochet (or sometimes knit) while I watch, or while I'm listening to music. I have a dog, a cat and a parrot, all rescued and, until recently, I had rescue hens too. I enjoy others' company but also need a lot of time on my own. I had lots of penfriends when I was a teenager.
