I am interested in an email exchange with someone sharing some of my interests. That person may be very different from me, it is the willingness to engage in an open discussion that matters, rather than the topics. I go on hikes regularly and visit art exhibitions, which in and around Basel is easy to do. Similarly, travelling to Germany is ideal from my residential location. I regularly go to the opera and to museums in Frankfurt am Main and visit Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe and Mannheim for the same reason.
