My name is Jimmy Cline. I graduated from Portland State University with a B.A. in Japanese language. My interest in the Japanese language largely stems from an interest in art, literature, and history, as well as a vested interest in world languages and linguistics. I would classify myself as an intermediate speaker. I can discuss literature, or talk about history in Japanese, and have a fairly sophisticated conversation. My intention for being on Globalpenfriends is to strengthen my Japanese fluency in the interest of my career, and share my language and culture with native Japanese.
