I have been widowed for three years and spend a lot of time on my computer. Reading is another great gift and I read at least three or four novels per week if not more. My best friend is my Jack Russell who rides on my scooter and never leaves my side. I am interested in most topics and worked all my life as PAs or Office Managers whilst bringing up my two children who are now adults and parents themselves. I took redundancy and became a foster carer for all children (0-18 years) which I thoroughly enjoyed. I keep in touch and have visits from a few of them.
