I am professor of English and History at a community college who is an artist and writer. I tend to prefer to spend time at home and enjoy gardening, cooking, and entertaining on my patio. I enjoy movies and theater and am an avid reader. I live with a dog and two cats. In June 2023, I founded a small press to publish Open Educational Resources (OERs) primarily in the fields of education, spirituality, and addiction recovery. I have written on these topics as well as LGBTQ issues. The press has no income stream which means that I make no royalties or income from our publications.
