I surf, play with motorcycles, cook, because I love food, and skateboard a little because my kids do it. Politics and religion are fun to talk about if you don’t take them too seriously. I started adulthood as a teacher in a Latin area in Philadelphia. The students started me learning Spanish. Moved to Hawaii 20 years ago for work. There aren’t many Spanish speakers in Hawaii so I don’t get to practice much. I lived in Playa Zicatela for five summers; I miss the Mexican vibe. Probably should have married Latina.
