This is something I wanted to try for a long time based on a friend’s recommendation. I enjoy making new acquaintances and broadening my horizons, and that is the main reason I decided to give it a go. In full transparency, I would describe myself as a very ambitious, borderline competitive person. University is naturally taking a lot of my time, leaving less time for my hobbies, but I’ve realised that it shouldn’t define me as a person. I want to be much more than a university student and so I choose to explore new territories. Does it sound cheesy? No regrets :)
