I was born in Canada before moving to England, later Channel Islands, finally Australia. I am married with two adult sons who live independently. I love gardening, experimenting with different species of plants. Ancestry, history, architecture fascinate me. I enjoy reading and collect books. I treasure old bookshops. Languages and cultures intrigue me. I have flown back to UK and then recently Europe.
