I am an enthousiastic volunteer, who used to work for decades in a bank. After a burn-out (3 years ago), I managed to recover. From the end of 2023, I started as a volunteer, telling my recovery story for groups and individuals. My partner and I live, together with our sons, 16 and 15 years of age in the center of the Flemish Ardennes, very well known to cyclists because of the cobblestones and steep climbs. We also have three old cats, two dogs, two shetland poneys and six chickens. I love to write, having been an amateur journalist for a well known Belgian newspaper.
