I am quiet and reserved in private and in public. I believe everyone should leave a positive mark on the Earth leaving every place we visit better than when we arrived. International and intercultural cooperation should be the norm by now after 300,000 years of humans having established cultures and societies nearly everywhere on this shrinking planet. Even in retirement, I find that having only 24 hours in each day wholly inadequate to study and learn about life on Earth. I have loved studying since before I began formal education. There is so much we can learn from friends in far away places
