Hiya, I'm an artist, illustrator & author of childrens picture books, and secondary school art teacher. Mother of two wonderful teens. I love music (play guitar and sing in a band for fun), movies, live theatre/circus and walking the dogs. Love books and reading -very eclectic range from the classics/highbrow to sci-fi and comics. Animal lover, tai chi practicer, & foodie. Did a lot of overseas travel in my late teens/early twenties, and now live on a small orchard in the country. I love it, having space, privacy and chickens, but sometimes I really crave the stimulation of big cities and other people!
