I live alone with my cat, a few pesky pigeons and hedgehog visitors. I have a small garden but am restricted to buying pot plants plus propagating a few plants myself from collected seed and cuttings. I follow major sporting events e.g. cricket, football, tennis, golf and horse racing. I maintain regular contact with a younger sister, my daughter (lives locally) and a grand-daughter who lives abroad. Used to belong to a number of village clubs and societies pre Covid but have not returned to any. I am friendly and polite to those neighbours who reciprocate but not close to any.
