I am an avid student of Victorian history with a special interest in the British firearms industry of that period. My hobbies are collecting Victoriana, reciting poetry, and trying my hand at fiction writing. I also enjoy good food, drink, and lively conversation. The topics of conversation range from liturgy to biology. My days of retirement are spent hiking, caring for my modest collection of farm animals and an especially boisterous hound. I had a successful career working in a pathology lab and find retirement a delight and a challenge.
