I live in a small town in rural, Illinois. I write books for a living. I'm an avid reader, mostly in mystery and horror genres, but I read literature as well. I play guitar, but not very well. I have two cats and two parakeets. I enjoy watching movies and doing creative projects. I'm very interested in Japanese culture. I find contemporary books and movies by Japanese artists fascinating.
