I'm a retired lecturer in computer science. I moved to France 8 years ago to renovate an old barn, which I am still doing. It can be very hard work. I grow a lot of vegetables, but have started growng flowers as well now. I run both a book club and a French english conversation group. I live with my husband, who has done all the complicated aspects of the renovation, I am more of a labourer. At the end of every day I am tired but happy. Every day is busy, but I like being busy. I live in a beautiful part of France, which not too hot - and have built a pool, great for colling down.
