Hi, my name is Maya and I'm a Japanese Canadian that wants to improve fluency in languages by talking to people. I am an engineering student and enjoy all things mathematics and physics, but I also have several hobbies including reading, crocheting, playing hockey, and as mentioned, learning new languages. I am fluent in English, have B2 proficiency in French (certified by DELF), B1 proficiency in Japanese (used to be higher when I attended Japanese school), and a beginner in Spanish and Swedish (I would love to improve these 2 a lot).
